Post Date March 24, 2010 Bluenose Model Plans, Progress UpdateThe first ever authentic and authorized set of Bluenose Model plans drawn from the original W.J. Roué design lines is soon to be available. While the project has taken longer than anticipated it will be well worth the wait with illustration detail beyond your wildest imagination. Expected to include 10 plates. The initial run will be presented in a special numbered collector's limited edition large format book that will also include the original Bluenose drawings by W.J. Roué as well as a collection of anecdotes and photographs relating to Bluenose and Bluenose II. Click on the image above to view an example of the hand-drawn detail to be featured in the model plans. Publication is expected by this fall. Pricing for both the limited edition collector's book as well as for the model plans alone will be set prior to publication; pricing will be included in the advance notification emails.
